KAIJA was produced across four shoot days, combining split-unit capture, location sequences, and live concert material into one coherent final cut.

The first day plays like a cold open. Riga Central Market, moving crowds, light that refuses to sit still. The camera team shot the foundation there, grabbing performance beats on the ground where the city keeps interrupting you.

On another day, Mārcis Vaivars added a short concert pass from a different spot. Those few takes gave the cut extra options.

The last location day is where it stops feeling unfinished. The production team shot the missing connective scenes, with the lighting operator keeping everything readable under the final setup. Only then did the cut finally lock. The edit and color pass brought the whole thing into a single language.
